Mariya George

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Mariya George is the Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of cleareye.ai.

Before starting cleareye.ai, Mariya was the Head of Banking and Insurance at UST Global. She was responsible for the industry group’s overall vision, strategy and investment priorities, developing the network of alliance partners and an aggressive revenue growth goal of 70%. She was also responsible for the global P&L, sales, business development, consulting, client relationship management and technology execution.

Prior to this, Mariya was the Business Head for East and Midwest market in North America. She led the global sales organization across North America and primary markets in Asia (India, China), and built a team to lead and manage new Fortune 500 customer acquisitions and doubled her portfolio.

She developed a two-year strategic plan that migrated from a transaction-based sale to a relationship-based sale and reduced new customer acquisition time by 75%. She also designed and implemented a sales cluster model that delivered 50% top line sales growth year over year.

From 2010 to 2015, she worked with the Innovation, Services & Enterprise Solutions leadership on large-scale innovation and digital transformation efforts at UST Global. She implemented the federated innovation model and crafted the go-to-market strategy and execution plan to position the organization as the innovation partner for multiple Fortune 100 customers.

Before that she spent 10 years leading multiple consulting engagements with a focus on bridging business demand and technology solutions.

Mariya has a degree in Computer Science from Cochin University of Science & Technology, India. She is passionate about finding and building talent, especially women in technology with strong entrepreneurial skills. She is based in New York.

 

Sarath Sasikumar

Co-Founder & President

Sarath Sasikumar is the Co-Founder & President of cleareye.ai. In this role Sarath is responsible for the company’s ecosystem strategy, global operations, talent management & other business enablement functions. His is also the Chief Value Mentor, evangelizing a “Values & Culture First” mindset across the company.

Prior to founding cleareye.ai, Sarath served as the Head of Operations, Global Technology Services Group (TSG) at UST Global, an American multinational provider of digital services where he was responsible for service demand and new service creation efforts.

Prior to this role, Sarath led a team of Global Business Integrators, a special task force working directly for the CEO’s Office. Sarath and his team managed multiple strategic programs across the globe. His personal focus was on operationalizing a Global New Business Group which later became the elite group responsible for delivering sales growth, net new Fortune 500 customer acquisitions and the #1 distribution channel for its Products & Platforms division.

Sarath has vast experience managing large and complex programs, both in engineering and in business, spanning multiple teams, geographies and varying degrees of uncertainties.

Before getting Inducted as the leader for the Global Business Integrators group, Sarath helped build a Global Partnerships & Alliances Group for UST Global.

He has also held engineering and pre-sales leadership roles with various Silicon Valley startups.

Sarath graduated with an Engineering degree in Electronics & Telecommunication, Mahatma Gandhi University, India. He is based in Orange County, CA, where he lives with his wife and his daughter.

Chandrasekhar
Somasekhar

Chief Technology Officer

Chandrasekhar is the Chief Technology Officer at Cleareye. Additionally, Chandra leads the Product Engineering team at Cleareye.

A Senior Engineering Leader with 20yrs of experience building solutions for enterprises. Experience in heading Product engineering teams, defining enterprise applications architecture, leading technology governance, consultative/technical solution crafting and proposals. Passionate about motivating teams to bring innovation and build scalable products that customers love. Have consistent track record of delivering business results and successful products that involve multiple cross-functional teams.

Prior to Cleareye at UST Global, as Director of Innovation Engineering team , laid the core foundation of Product Development organization. Led engineering teams to build platforms using AI and Machine Learning to bring Operational efficiency in business process across domains. Responsible for defining and promoting strong cultural values and build a world class engineering organization.

Chandra is a certified Enterprise Architect and holds Master’s in Physics from University of Kerala.

Mithun Raj

Head of Trade Finance Portfolio ( ClearTrade™ )

Mithun is the Head of Trade Finance Portfolio ( ClearTrade™ ) and is responsible for Go-to-Market for Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa regions at Cleareye.ai.

With over 20 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Mithun brings deep expertise and business acumen to the field of Trade Finance Operations and Compliance. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions at leading regional and global banks, including ABN AMRO, Natwest Plc, ANZ Banking Group, and MUFG, India and Singapore.

Mithun has a proven track record of driving operational efficiencies and regulatory compliance through automation and process-reengineering for banks and corporates alike. He has also played a crucial role in driving regulatory projects in Trade Finance, particularly in Trade Based Money Laundering (TBML) for many of these financial institutions at global scale.

Mithun holds a degree in Engineering from the Cochin University of Science and Technology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from IFMR Graduate School of Business. He lives in India with his family.

Sajan Pillai

Group Chairman

Sajan Pillai is the general partner of Season Two Ventures, after working for years as CEO of UST Global. Sajan led the company’s global business operations through its centers in the US, the UK, Spain, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Mexico, Australia, Poland and Israel. His leadership saw UST Global grow significantly.

He led the company’s founding team in 1999. The company has grown from 20 employees to more than 25,000 employees today. Sajan has held several senior management positions in the software industry. He also architected and managed large software systems for MCI Telecommunications, US.

In addition to his work at UST, Sajan has recently founded SP Life, a company revolutionizing senior care and living in India.

Sajan also holds patents in Internet Computing and Data Systems

 

Ganesh Ravi Pillai

Member of The Board of Directors

Ganesh Ravi Pillai is Member of the Board of cleareye.ai. He is currently the Executive Director of RP Group of Companies, a diversified business conglomerate having more than 120,000 employees with interest in construction and infrastructure, real estate development, hotels and hospitality, healthcare and wellness, education, information technology, trading and retail. 

RP Group is founded and headed by his father, Dr. Ravi Pillai, and it’s construction and infrastructure division represents one of the largest Oil & Gas Industrial Contracting companies in the world. After a 4 year stint in banking, mainly at Citibank, N.A. in the Banking &  nvestments function, Ganesh went on to pursue MBA from IE Business School, Madrid, Spain, in 2013. He joined the family business in January 2015 as Group Vice President. 

Ganesh currently oversees the strategic direction and expansion of the group’s presence globally. Since joining RP Group, he has implemented resource planning systems and helped the business move into real estate, education and technology. Ganesh led one of the group companies in Dubai to enter Guinness World Records for completing the largest continuous concrete pour in the world. Ganesh also featured in Forbes as amongst the Top Next Generation Business Leaders in the Arab World. Ganesh is spearheading RP Group’s strategy to reinforce its position as a leading, diversified business group with global presence.

Sean Manahan

Global Head of Tech BD, Morgan Stanley

Advisor To The Board

Sean Manahan is Advisor to the Board of Cleareye.ai. He is currently serving as the Global Head of Technology Business Development at Morgan Stanley. In his stint of nearly 12 years with Morgan Stanley, Sean has played multiple roles.

Prior to this, Sean was the Vice President at Credit Suisse. He held a variety of positions across engineering, operations, service & delivery management and product management in Credit Suisse.

 

 

 

 

 

Christian Rasmussen

Head of Group Treasury Asset’s and Liability’s America’s, UBS

Advisor To The Board

Christian Rasmussen is Advisor to the Board of Cleareye.ai. Christian Rasmussen joined UBS from Paine Webber as member of the Mortgage Funding Group in 2000, where he was instrumental in helping to integrate the Mortgage funding business into the UBS Cash Collateral Trading model. In 2005 he created and led the overnight funding team in trading Treasury, Agency & MBS collateral, as well as managed the US GC matchbooks. In 2010 Christian took on the role of Head of USD Short Securities Collateral trading, which included short term rates cash, repo, swaps & futures product. After transitioning the repo business into Group Treasury, within the Asset and Liability division in 2012, Christian was asked to assume the role of Head of Treasury ALM Repo Americas, as well as becoming the deputy Global Head of Treasury ALM Repo. His team focused on the daily financing of fixed income products, as well as managing an asset portfolio of non-traditional securities. In March of 2015 Christian assumed the role of Global Co-Head of GALM Repo. In this role Christian had ownership of the Global secured funding fixed income business across UBS. In October of 2015 GALM reorganized its approach to Cash and Collateral and created a new structure called Cash and Collateral Resource Management (CCRM). During this restructuring, Christian assumed the role of Global Head of Liability Creation, Structuring and Flow management (LCSFM) and CCRM Regional Head of the America’s. In January 2019 Group Treasury and GALM reformed and deployed a more regional approach to its structure. Christian assumed his current role of Head of Treasury America’s Assets and Liabilities. Christian has been a leading member in driving the enhanced regulatory standards for UBS Americas. He is currently the business lead for LIBOR transition in the America’s, as well as sitting on the ARRC Market Structure and Paced Transition working group.

Anup Purohit

Global CIO, Wipro

Advisor To The Board

Anup Purohit is Wipro’s Global CIO and a member of its Executive Council responsible for its business, digital and technology transformation.

Prior to Wipro, he served as the CIO at YES Bank and its group companies where he was responsible for its IT and digital strategy. Anup has held various technology leadership roles at RBL Bank, Barclays Bank and JPMC in the last two decades.
